Romanza Festivale presents "Gilded: Arias and Accolades," an exciting afternoon celebration of song and art produced in partnership by First Coast Opera and the St. Augustine Art Association. The event is a synergy of local talent in music and in fine art, with the Art Association's "Gilded" exhibit as the setting for First Coast Opera's presentation of a selection of arias and duets. Both the concert and the awards presentation for the "Gilded" juried art show will take place on Sunday, May 7, 2017, at the St. Augustine Art Association.

"Gilded: Impressions of the Flagler Era" celebrates the legacy of the Gilded Age in St. Augustine in a juried art show from May 5 to May 28, 2017. The show will display the results of the Plein Air Paint Out event, which invited artists to paint their choice of the landmarks, hotels, buildings, open spaces, and cityscapes that reflect the Flagler historic era.

First Coast Opera will perform from 3:00 to 4:00 p.m., and the exhibit's awards presentation will follow from 4:15 to 4:45 p.m. There will be a reception with a cash bar and appetizers following at 5:00 p.m.

"Gilded: Impressions of the Flagler Era" is presented as part of the Romanza Festivale of the Arts.

Admission: Free.

When: This event will take place from 3:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 7, 2017.
