Grammy Award-winning rock legends Huey Lewis and The News' with special guest Richard Marx concert, scheduled to take place on Sunday, April 22, 2018 at The St. Augustine Amphitheatre, has been cancelled. In a statement to his Florida fans, Huey Lewis said, "I'm so sorry to have cancelled shows in one of my favorite places. I'm going through some medical problems at the moment which forbid me from performing, but I'm confident that I will be okay and back on the road soon. Thank you for understanding, and I promise to make it up to you soon." Tickets purchased via TicketMaster will be refunded immediately. Ticketmaster phone charges and online sales will automatically be credited to customer's accounts. Tickets purchased at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre or Ponte Vedra Concert Hall Box Offices can be refunded at the box offices. The St. Augustine Amphitheatre Box Office is open Monday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m., and Saturday 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m. The Ponte Vedra Concert Hall Box Office hours are Thursday through Friday, 10:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. and Saturday 9:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.

Huey Lewis and the News have been together almost 40 years, playing quintessential rock and roll and selling over 20 million albums in their career. Their classic hits include "Heart of Rock & Roll," "I Want a New Drug," "Hip To Be Square," and "Do You Believe in Love." They wrote and performed "The Power of Love" and "Back in Time" for the hit movie Back to the Future.

With such a meteoric recording career, Huey Lewis and the News have been able to match that excellence in their live shows. The group is made up of Huey Lewis (vocals and harmonica), Johnny Colla (saxophone, guitar and vocals), Bill Gibson (drums, percussion and vocals), Sean Hopper (keyboards and vocals), Stef Burns (guitars and vocals), and John Pierce (bass).

They will appear with special guest Richard Marx, who boasts a nearly three-decade-long career, with more than 30 million albums sold worldwide, and 14 #1 singles under his belt as a performer and/or songwriter/producer.

Parking Information: The St. Augustine Amphitheatre is located on Anastasia Island next to Anastasia State Park. Limited paid parking is available in the St. Augustine Amphitheatre Main Lot, but only with advance purchase of a Premium Parking ticket. Free satellite parking areas are located within one mile of the Amphitheatre, at R.B. Hunt Elementary and at Anastasia State Park (see map below).

Shuttle Information: The St. Augustine Amphitheatre shuttle system begins its run 45 minutes prior to show time. The shuttle will pick up event patrons at four designated shuttle stops: the R.B. Hunt Elementary School Soccer Field, the west entrance of the Anastasia State Park Main Parking Lot, the Loop at the Anastasia State Park, and the entrance of the St. Augustine Amphitheatre. Shuttles will run continuously until approximately 45 minutes after the scheduled start time of a concert. For anyone wanting to leave prior to the end of a show, shuttles will begin taking people back to the satellite parking areas one hour before the event is over. The driver will not depart the Amphitheatre until the shuttle is more than 50% full.
