Limelight: Annie Get Your Gun

The Limelight Theatre opens its 2019-20 season with their production one of the most popular Broadway musicals ever, Annie Get Your Gun, from September 19 through October 20, 2019. Performances are at 7:30 p.m. on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, and at 2:00 p.m. on Sundays, as well as a Terrific Tuesday showing on September 24, 2019.

This musical, with lyrics and music by Irving Berlin and based on a book by Dorothy Fields and her brother Herbert Fields, debuted on Broadway in 1946. Annie Get Your Gun has remained one of the most popular musicals ever produced, with long runs in New York and London, along with many revivals, a 1950 film version, and versions made for TV.

On the evening before the production begins its run (Wednesday, September 18, 2019), there will be a Season Opening Party at the Raintree Restaurant followed by a performance of the musical at the Limelight Theatre. The dinner and a show combo is $60.00 per person.

Where: The Limelight Theatre is located at 11 Old Mission Ave. in the Uptown San Marco district. Free parking is available on the street and in the parking lot behind the theater.
