Please Note: This event is from 2018

The Limelight Theatre presents the dark comedy, Bad Jews, at the Koger-Gamache Studio Theatre from April 20 to May 13, 2018. The off-Broadway hit explores the themes of family, faith, and "what you choose to believe, when you're chosen."

The play tells the story of the dynamics of a Jewish family after the death of a beloved grandfather, as they fight over a treasured piece of jewelry, an heirloom he had been able to preserve, keeping it even from the Nazis during the Holocaust. The family struggles over many other topics as well, including religious faith and cultural assimilation.

Bad Jews was written by Joshua Harmon and premiered Off-Broadway in October 2012. Gregory Leute will direct the Limelight Theatre's production. Cast members include Stephanie Santiago as Daphna, Marc Stone as Liam, Kameron Watson as Jonah, and Rachel Ihasz as Melody.
