Please Note: This event is from 2019

The Limelight Theatre presents Father of the Bride on the main stage from April 5 through April 28, 2019. Performances are at 7:30 p.m. from Thursdays through Saturdays and 2:00 p.m. on Sundays, including a Preview Night on April 4 and a Terrific Tuesday showing on April 9, 2019.

A father (George Banks) finds himself anxious about letting go of his oldest daughter as her wedding approaches. Even though the fiance is an excellent potential son-in-law, George takes an instant dislike to him. George embarks on a misguided plan to discredit the young man, and when that doesn't work he starts complaining about the costs of the wedding, finally descending to a little bit of madness as he opens up packs of hot dog buns at the supermarket to make them equal the number of hot dogs in a pack and getting arrested.

Steve Martin played the Father of the Bride in the 1991 movie, a remake of the 1950 film of the same name.
