The Limelight Theatre presents a stage adaptation of Disney's classic Sleeping Beauty,  in St. Augustine from Friday, July 24 to Sunday, July 26, 2015. Third through fifth grade students perform in this summer camp production.

The Limelight Theatre brings the classic fairytale of Disney's Sleeping Beauty to life on stage. On her sixteenth birthday, Princess Aurora will prick her finger on a spinning wheel and fall into a deep sleep. This is a product of Maleficent's curse. Her fairy friends Flora, Fauna, and Merryweather must work with a handsome prince to save Princess Aurora from Maleficent.

This Limelight production staff features Leah Page as director; Sarah Messenger as choreographer; Sara Cabell as stage manager and prop supervisor; Miles Mosher as lighting and sound designer; Alison Zador as costume designer, and Intern Zachary McLean as booth operator.

The Princess Aurora is played by Ella Escamilla and Prince Phillip is played by Ava Venson. Merryweather is played by Kayla Watson; Flora is played by Caroline Earnshaw; Fauna is played by Lily Barnes; Maleficent is played by Ella Lomaglio. The rest of the cast includes Lily Selvig as Queen Hubert/Animal/Fairy; Autumn Tivey as Queen Stefanie/animal; Lindsey Ring as King Stefan/animal; Nalani Manyak as Fumpfel; Isabella Guyton as guard/fairy/animal; Lily Oldham as Blather; Elsye Bernthal as Pest and Izzy Margulis as fairy.

Admission: Tickets are $10 for adults and $5 for children 12 and under.

When? From Friday, July 24 to Sunday, July 26, 2015. On Friday and Saturday night, the show is at 7:30 p.m. On Sunday, the show is at 2:00 p.m.

Where? The Limelight Theatre is located at 11 Old Mission Ave. in the Uptown San Marco district. Free parking is available on the street and in the parking lot behind the theater.
