Lucero with Special Guest Jade Jackson

The St. Augustine Amphitheatre presents alt-rock Americana group Lucero live in concert at their Backyard Stage on Wednesday, February 26, 2020. Lucero will appear with special guest Jade Jackson.

Based in Memphis, Lucero combines the genres of country, rock, and soul to create a unique, genre-defying sound. The band started playing together in 1998, and landed their first record deal in 2001 with the album Lucero. The band is composed of Ben Nichols (guitar and vocals), Roy Berry (drums), John C. Stubblefield (bass), and Rick Steff (piano, organ, accordion). In 2009, the band released 1372 Overton Park and began to experiment with their sound. Some of their singles include "My Best Girl" and "Smoke."

The group's ninth studio album, Among the Ghosts, featuring a more streamlined rock and roll sound, was recorded and co-produced with Grammy-winning engineer and producer Matt Ross-Spang.

Admission: General admission tickets are $27.00 if purchased in advance and $29.00 if purchased on the day of the show.

Where: The Backyard Stage at the Amphitheatre is located at 1340 A1A South in St. Augustine, FL 32080.

Parking Information: The Amp is located on Anastasia Island next to Anastasia State Park. Limited paid parking is available in the St. Augustine Amphitheatre Main Lot, but only with advance purchase of a Premium Parking ticket. Free satellite parking areas are located within one mile of the Amphitheatre, at R.B. Hunt Elementary and at Anastasia State Park (see map below).

Shuttle Information: The St. Augustine Amphitheatre shuttle system begins its run 45 minutes prior to show time. The shuttle will pick up event patrons at four designated shuttle stops: the R.B. Hunt Elementary School Soccer Field, the west entrance of the Anastasia State Park Main Parking Lot, the Loop at the Anastasia State Park, and the entrance of The Amp. Shuttles will run continuously until approximately 45 minutes after the scheduled start time of a concert. For anyone wanting to leave prior to the end of a show, shuttles will begin taking people back to the satellite parking areas one hour before the event is over. The driver will not depart from The Amp until the shuttle is more than 50% full.
