The Lullaby of the Rivers Festival presents a short nature and activity walk from the Vilano Pier Pavilion to the North Shores Community Park and back, on Saturday, January 21, 2023, between 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m.

From the Pier, the walk will go along the nature boardwalk, then through the neighborhood to the North Shores Community Park and back again, with optional detours to Nease Beachside Park and Surfside Park. Along the way, there will be stations to learn more about the area's waters and shorelines, and to enjoy live music performances, storytelling presentations, and refreshments. 

Parks on the walking tour include the Vilano Fishing Pier and Pavilion, Vilano Beach Nature Boardwalk, and North Shores Park. Those who attend may take detours to visit other nearby Nease Beachfront Park, Surfside Park. There will be guided walks throughout the day, with historians or naturalist, or walkers may meander on their own.

This walk benefits the Lullaby of the Rivers Festival which takes place April 22 and 23, 2023 at North Shores Community Park.

Admission: $10.00 per adult. Children and pets may participate at no cost. No reservations are necessary but pre-payment is available here. Payment will also be taken at a table at Vilano Beach Fishing Pier and Pavilion.

When: Saturday, January 21, 2023, from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Where: The walk starts at a booth located at the Vilano Beach Pier Pavilion, and walkers will be guided all along the way to the North Shores Community Park and back.
