Moonlight Beach Walk – Vilano

This special guided moonlight beach walk welcomes all ages to experience the beach at night.

Please Note: This event is from 2016

The St. Johns County Parks and Recreation Department and Environmental Division team up to present Moonlight Beach Walks on Vilano Beach on these upcoming nights: Monday, August 8 and Wednesday, August 17, 2016.

Participants can explore the beach by moonlight and learn about the wildlife and animals that are active on the beach after nightfall. The walks depart from Vilano Beach Oceanfront Park at 8 p.m.

Attendees should wear comfortable shoes and bring flashlights (red film will be provided for use with flashlights so the light will not disturb nesting or hatching sea turtles).

Admission: FREE, but reservations are required. Please call (904) 209-0335 to book a spot on the July 26 tour.

When: Monday, August 8, and Wednesday, August 17, 2016, at 8:00 p.m.

Where: Vilano Beach Oceanfront Park is located at 2750 Anahma Drive in Vilano Beach FL 32084.
