As part of the commemoration of the National Park Service Centennial, the Castillo de San Marcos will host free concerts by the St. Augustine Youth Chorus on Saturday, August 27, 2016.

The St. Augustine Youth Chorus is an auditioned choir of 30 singers from the St. Augustine and St. Johns County area. They will perform several patriotic songs, including the Children's Earth Anthem. Similar performances will be taking place nationwide to celebrate the 100th birthday of the National Park Service.

There will be three 20-minute performances, beginning at 10 a.m., 11 a.m., and 1 p.m., inside the Castillo courtyard.

Guests should plan to arrive 20 to 30 minutes before the performances begin to allow time for parking.

Admission: The performances are free. The Castillo is offering free admission from Thursday through Sunday, August 25 - 28, 2016, to commemorate the National Park Centennial.

When: Saturday, August 27, 2016. Performances begin at 10 s.m., 11 a.m., and 1 p.m. The Castillo is open from 8:45 a.m. - 5:15 p.m., with the last ticket sold at 4:45 p.m.  

Where: The performances will be held in the courtyard of the Castillo of San Marcos, which is located on the bayfront at 1 S. Castillo Drive.
