Thursdays, February 20, 27, and March 5, 2020 | 10 – 11:30 a.m. at Alpine Groves Park
The St. Johns County Parks and Recreation Department offers a free Nature Photography course with three classes on successive Thursdays: February 20, 27, and March 5, 2020. Local photographer Nicholle Goodnight will lead these hands-on classes from 10:00 to 11:30 a.m. at Alpine Groves Park.
The workshop is designed to teach participants how to make the most of their digital cameras, with tips on exposure, focus, composition, and more. Students should bring their own camera equipment and must be at least 12 years of age. As with any outdoor activity this time of year, participants are encouraged to bring a refillable water bottle, bug spray, sunscreen, appropriate clothing, and wear comfortable shoes.
Admission: FREE, but registration is required by visiting here. Participants should plan to attend all three classes.
