
Romanza: Bartram Trail Chorus
The Bartram Trail High School choirs will treat audiences to a Chamber Music Series performance on Thursday, May 13, 2021, at Ancient City Baptist Church.
Under the direction of Barbara Mattingly for the past 19 years, Bartram's choral groups regularly receive superior ratings in Florida Vocal Association adjudication.
Honor Choir participation includes performances with the EPCOT Candlelight Professional and Massed Choir, Jacksonville Sings, Stetson University High School Choral Festival and Florida All-State Choirs. In 2014, Honor Choir participated in the Charleston International Festival of Choirs. The choir also participated in the Manhattan Concert Productions' National Festival Choir in 2018 and appeared at Carnegie Hall in 2019.
Mattingly earned a master's degree in music education from Florida State University. She has been a choral music educator in St. Johns County schools since 2000. Since 1998, she has been the Minister of Music at Memorial Lutheran Church in St. Augustine. She performs as a collaborative pianist with the St. Augustine Chamber Singers and has sung twice with the Chamber Singers in New York's Carnegie Hall.
