Yael ZaZa Flemenca performs a program of World Music for this Romanza Festivale concert on Tuesday, May 16, 2024, at 7:30 p.m., at the First Congregation Sons of Israel, 161 Cordova Street in St. Augustine.

A composer, singer, actress, and musician Yael has roots in France and Israel and has performed worldwide, singing in French, English, Spanish, Portuguese, Italian, Russian, and Hebrew. Her music spreads across many genres, including Gypsy Jazz, French music, Flamenco, Jazz, and Latin. Yael earned a Master of Jazz Music at Queens College in New York in 2014.

Yael moved to St. Augustine a few years ago and is a frequent performer at local venues and festivals. At the Sons of Israel Temple, Yael's performance will feature progressive music from around the world.

Where: First Congregation Sons of Israel is located at 161 Cordova Street in the Lincolnville neighborhood of St. Augustine, Florida 32084. 

This event is part of the Romanza Festivale of Music and the Arts, an annual festival of two weeks of historical, cultural, and creative events celebrating all things St. Augustine. From May 3 -19, the nation's oldest city will be jam-packed with music and dance concerts, living history events and historical tours, live theater, and art exhibits.
