The Romanza Festival 2024 finale will be an outdoor concert in the Plaza de la Constitución, performed by the Bold City Brass band, on Tuesday, May 19, 2024, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.

From Jacksonville, the Bold City Brass Band has performed in Northeast Florida and beyond since 1980. The musicians are retired professional musicians, music teachers, and other accomplished players. They enjoy making good music together and often perform at celebrations, official functions, and special concerts.

While the band is modeled on the traditional brass ensembles, all members currently perform on contemporary instruments: French horns, trumpets, trombones, and upright tubas.

The band performs under the direction of Dr. Eric A. Becher who has expanded the band's repertoire to include music from several periods and genres. They can still belt out the more traditional marches and do so to the delight of their audiences.

Admission: Free. For more information about this concert, go here.

When: Tuesday, May 19, from 6:30 to 8:00 p.m.

Where: The Gazebo at the Plaza de la Constitución, 170 St. George Street, St. Augustine, Florida 32084
