Linda Cole, who has been called Central Florida's "First Lady of Song," will present a concert of jazz standards on Friday, May 10, 2024, at 7:30 p.m., at the First United Methodist Church.

As a child, Linda performed with her siblings in the "Singing Cole Family," a group well-known throughout the central U.S. in the 1960s. Afterward, Linda toured extensively, performing with the London Symphony Orchestra, Chuck Mangione, the Temptations, and the Count Basie Orchestra.

With her move to Florida, Miss Cole focused her performances on the Great American Song Book, particularly the jazz standards. She's a Florida favorite and has sung with the Orlando Jazz Orchestra, the Daytona Beach Concert Band, and the Space Coast Symphony Jazz Orchestra. She has also volunteered extensively and has been an active board member of the Fitzgerald Center for Performing Arts in Palm Coast.
