The Sea Turtle Conservancy will host a Sea Turtle Lighting Presentation on Wednesday, May 24, 2017, at St. Augustine Beach City Hall. The program is free and open to the public.

The hour-long presentation will discuss basic sea turtle biology, the laws regarding lighting along the beach during sea turtle nesting season, and ways in which beachfront residents can help to keep their beaches safe for sea turtles.

Admission: FREE

When: Wednesday, May 24, 2017, at 10 a.m.

Where: St. Augustine Beach City Hall is located at 2200 A1A South in St. Augustine Beach, FL 32080.

The Sea Turtle Conservancy's (STC) mission is to protect sea turtles and associated marine wildlife worldwide, with an emphasis on the Southeast U.S. and the Wider Caribbean. To achieve its mission, STC uses research, habitat protection, public education, community outreach, networking and advocacy as its basic tools. The group conducts ongoing programs in Florida, Costa Rica, Panama, Bermuda, El Salvador, Mexico and the Eastern Caribbean.
