Small Batch Music Series: Aaron Neville
Friday, July 17, 2020, at 7:00 p.m. at Lewis Auditorium
The St. Johns County Cultural Events Division, in partnership with the St. Augustine Distillery and Flying Saucer Presents, will kick off its brand new Small Batch Music Series with legendary soul artist Aaron Neville performing on Friday, July 17, 2020. The concert will be held at Lewis Auditorium in downtown St. Augustine.
Legendary rhythm and blues and soul artist Aaron Neville has had four platinum-certified albums and four Top 20 hits in the U.S., and was inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 2015. Known for his angelic balladry (when performing solo) as well as his gritty New Orleans sound (when performing with his brothers), Neville is branching out to a new musical style that builds on both in his recent album, Apache, which features hard R&B on one side and Neville's unique vocal brilliance on the other.
Presented by the St. Augustine Distillery and curated by the St. Johns Cultural Events Division (which owns and operates the St. Augustine Amphitheatre and the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall) and Flying Saucer Presents, the Small Batch Music Series will feature well-known musical stars performing at Lewis Auditorium in the heart of downtown St. Augustine. Aaron Neville’s performance will also include a pre-show Cocktail Hour Fundraiser for the Lincolnville Museum and Cultural Center. Additional Small Batch Music Series concerts will be announced throughout the year.
