St. Augustine Scoundrels

The Three Tellers will share tales about some of the best-known crooks and scoundrels in St. Augustine history.

The Three Tellers are returning for their fourth year performing for the Romanza Festivale of Music and the Arts in 2018. This year's program, "St. Augustine's Scoundrels," will take place from 12:00 noon to 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 9, 2018, at the Corazón Cinema and Café in downtown St. Augustine.

Wayne and Jane Sims, known as The Storytelling Sims, are humorists, historians and tandem tellers. In this production of The Three Tellers they are joined by Margaret Kaler, an accomplished St. Augustine storyteller. The Sims have been telling stories of Florida, Appalachia and the South for 22 years, sharing tales and legends at the renowned Florida Folk Festival and aboard the St. Johns Riverkeeper Eco-heritage boat cruises.  

For this special Romanza performance, the Three Tellers will be bringing to life some of the most outrageous scoundrels and villains in St. Augustine history. Lunch at the Café will be available before the show, beginning at 11:00 a.m. The performance begins at noon.

Admission: $10 for one, $15 for two.

When: Wednesday, May 9, 2018. Lunch is at 11:00 a.m., and the performance starts at 12:00 noon.

Where: The Corazón Cinema & Café is located at 36 Granada St. in downtown St. Augustine.
