28th Annual Tour de Forts Classic

The North Florida Bicycle Club hosts the 28th Annual Tour de Forts Classic on Sunday, April 28, 2019, beginning at 7:30 a.m. Cyclists are invited to participate in this bicycle tour through several scenic and historic routes in St. Johns County.
The ride begins at St. Augustine High School, where cyclists can choose their route of 26, 40, 59, 77, or 100 miles. The routes wind through uniquely scenic and historic areas from the historic Castillo de San Marcos National Monument in downtown St. Augustine to Fort Matanzas and the beautiful beaches along Scenic Highway A1A. The longer routes will take cyclists on the Palatka-to-St.-Augustine State Trail and along the St. Johns River.
More than 600 cyclists and their families are expected to participate in the April 29 event. A portion of the registration fees will go to support the North Florida Bicycle Club’s safety campaign, One Road. Registration for this supported ride includes pre-ride snacks, rest stops, and a post-ride lunch.
Registration: Registration is $60 per person per race through April 14, 2019. From April 15 through 27, the price is $65.00, and then increases to $70.00 on the day of the race. North Florida Bicycle Club Members receive a $10 discount. Visit here for more information. Early registrants can choose between free socks or a T-shirt -- register by Feb. 15 for the socks and by April 1 for the T-shirt.
When: Sunday, April 28, 2019. Doors open for packet pick-up and day-of-ride registration at 6:30 a.m. Individual routes depart from 7:30 to 8:00 a.m. Lunch is served from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.
