The ride begins at the St. Johns County Fairgrounds in Elkton, where cyclists can choose their route of approximately 13, 27, 36, 52, 63, 78 or 100 miles. The longer routes will take cyclists on the Palatka-to-St.-Augustine State Trail and along the St. Johns River.

Hundreds of cyclists and their families participate in this event each year. A portion of the registration fees will go to support the North Florida Bicycle Club's Pedaling for Safety nonprofit organization. Registration for this supported ride includes pre-ride snacks, rest stops, and a post-ride lunch and party.
