St. Augustine will the following Veterans Day events on Saturday, November 11, 2017.

The Grand Parade in downtown St. Augustine begins on Orange Street at 10:45 a.m., when church bells will ring and there will be a cannon salute from the fort officially starting the parade. The parade will go east on Orange Street then continue south on Castillo Drive before turning west onto Cathedral Place and then move north on Cordova Street to finish up at Francis Field. The parade is being presented by the Veterans Council of St. Johns County and the Ancient City Chapter of the Military Officers Association in America.
After the parade, the vehicles will be on display at the Castillo de San Marcos from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. There will be free admission to the Castillo at that time and living history reenactors will be placed around the fort with various displays sharing St. Augustine's military history.
The City of St. Augustine Beach will host a Veterans Day memorial ceremony on Friday from 3 to 4 p.m. at the Lakeside Park Veterans Memorial. The ceremony will be led by a City of St. Augustine Beach official and the event will include an honor guard, bagpipers, along with special guest speakers and veterans groups. Hamblen House wants to welcome Vets of all branches of the military to their Veterans Day bash with Live Music 12 p.m. to 3 p.m., and a ribbon cutting ceremony by the Mayor of Saint Augustine after the parade. All vets can receive 20% off with proof of service until 10 p.m.
St. Augustine Lighthouse and Maritime Museum
The St. Augustine Lighthouse and Maritime Museum will offer FREE admission for Veterans on Veterans Day, as well as 10% off for their immediate family members. The Lighthouse invites visitors to learn about St. Augustine's World War II history and see their newest building, the Maritime Archaeology and Education Center.
Old Town Trolley Tours
Old Town Trolley Tours will offer all military (veterans, active-duty, retired, and honorably discharged) complimentary admission on Saturday, November 11, 2017. Additionally, in partnership with Patriot Service Dogs, Old Town Trolleys will again sponsor a service dog for a disabled veteran, donating $1 from every ticket sold on Veterans Day to that organization. Old Town Trolleys has sponsored six puppies for veterans so far.
