Vilano Dish N Fish

Vilano Beach Main Street hosts its annual culinary event, Vilano Dish N Fish, on April 8, 2017. The event features cooking demonstrations and tastings, music, art, wine and craft beer tastings, and raffles all day long, as well as kids activities and a culinary competition sponsored by the Florida Restaurant & Lodging Association.

Dish N Fish will take place from 12:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Vilano Beach Town Center. Well-known restaurants from the area will offer classic northeast Florida fish and shrimp dishes at ten chef stations. A variety of craft beer, fine wine, and St. Augustine Distillery spirits will also be available, along with several arts and culinary vendors on-site.

There will be five teams of high school culinary students involved in the "ProStart" competition. Awards will be given out at 7 p.m. for school culinary grants. Raffle items and vacation prizes will be announced throughout the day.

Live music will include Amy Hendrickson, Sam Pacetti, Crawford Boyd, Dewey Via, Showtime USA, Katherine Archer, Legacy Irish Dancers, and Smokin' Joe Shauer (see below for schedule).

This event is part of the 1st Annual Vilano Beach Festival & Tour of Homes, which offers information on the Vilano Beach community, a tour of some of its historic homes, and the Sea Turtle Soiree on the Pier.

Proceeds from Vilano Dish N Fish will benefit the Florida Restaurant and Lodging Association's ProStart grants and Vilano Main Street projects.

Admission: $5 donation for adults; children under 15 are free. Meals from chef stations are $15. Free parking is available.
