In celebration of their 200th anniversary, the St. Johns County presents this walk through Canopy Shores Park with a discussion about the geography of the area and the certainty that this tract of land was once used by native Americans. There is at least one shell midden in this park, which has with a shoreline on the Matanzas river. 

This walk and discussion will include both the natural and the cultural history of this 33-acre park.

Admission: There is no cost, but pre-registration is required. To register, go here.
