In celebration of their 200th anniversary, the St. Johns County presents this walk through the Vaill Point Park, with a discussion about the unique geography, including a bluff providing views of Moultre Creek and the Matanzas River. This area has a very high number of diverse vegetation populations, and the 25-foot Bluff (Mesic Uplands) vegetative community is classified as imperiled in Florida. This is one of only 20 locations where this occurs in the state.

This walk and discussion will include both the natural and the cultural history of this park.

Admission: There is no cost, but pre-registration is required. To register, go here.

When: Saturday, March 27, 2021 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.
