Alta Marea, a seafood restaurant on King Street, offers fresh house-made pasta, a raw bar, fine wines, and meals made mostly with local ingredients — all featuring the cuisine of Italy's Tuscan Coast.
The stars of their menu are the seafood items, including an appetizer of Tuna Cannavacciuolo, and main courses such as Wine-Grazed Octopus, Local Grouper prepared with Calabrian chili butter, and Open Lobster Raviolo. In addition, they offer meals to please those who prefer meat and have notes on their menu when an item is gluten-free.
Alta Marea has a sister restaurant, Terra & Acqua on Anastasia Island in St. Augustine.
