Black Raven Adventures

Black Raven Adventures hosts the only live, interactive pirate cruises in St. Augustine. The Black Raven was designed and built to be a floating performance stage, and the talented crew of buccaneer lads and lasses engage the audience as they present their live, unscripted show on all things pirate. Black Raven Adventures offers several cruising options.

Treasure Hunt — Suitable for All Ages

About the Show:  The show starts when a small group of pirates from Queen Anne's Revenge steal the treasure chest from the stalwart Black Raven crew. A sea chase, sword fight, and cannon fire culminate in a sea battle between the two ships. Along the way, there are plenty of activities for kids and adults, including treasure sharing, sword fighting lessons, face painting, and the opportunity to purchase food and snacks from the ship's bar.

Departure Days and Times: The 90-minute Treasure Hunt departs twice daily in the afternoon in warmer weather, at 1:15 and 3:45 p.m. As the weather cools and with the start of Nights of Lights, the Treasure Hunt departs at 1:15 p.m. only.

Admission: Tickets are $44.95 for adults, $39.95 for children ages 3-12, and toddlers two and younger are $12.95. Seniors, aged 55 and older, pay $41.95. 

Tropical Sunset Cruise

About this Cruise: This two-hour cruise sails north toward Vilano while the temperature and drinks head south to the tropics. With warm ocean breezes and margaritas and Mai Tais at the cash bar, the only thing missing would be music by Jimmy Buffett or Bob Marley. Check to see if there will be live music. This cruise stays south of the Bridge of Lions.

Departure Days and Times: The Black Raven departs at 4:15 p.m. for the Tropical Sunset Cruise in the winter months. During Nights of Lights, the Tropical Sunset Cruise becomes the Nights of Lights Cruise, leaving the dock at 4:15 p.m. 

Admission: This cruise is open to all ages: $39.95 for teens and adults, $34.95 for children up through age 12. Seniors pay $36.95.

Rum Runner Cruise — Adults 21+ Only

About this Cruise: This 90-minute adult-oriented and audience-driven show is not for the easily offended and is full of outrageous fun aboard the ship. Enjoy a mix of songs, jokes, skits, and stories, all delivered pirate-style and unscripted, as the lively crew interacts with the audience. A cash bar is available. This is an adult cruise—only those 21 and older may purchase tickets. A parent on the trip may purchase a ticket for their child who is at least 18 years old. This cruise goes through the Bridge of Lions.

Departure Days and Times: The tour departs on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays. The schedule moves with the sun: 7:15 p.m. in the dark of winter, 8:15 p.m. in the warmer months.

Admission: Tickets are $34.95 for seniors older than 55, and $39.95 for adults aged 21 to 54. 

Birthday Party for Adults 21 and Older

A mutiny trial for the birthday celebrant can be arranged during the Rum Runner Adventure. The charges for the public mutiny are crimes reported by the celebrant's friends and family. Once the trial is over, the birthday guest receives a present from Black Raven's crew. 

The birthday mutiny is $125.00 plus tax, in addition to the group's tickets.

Fourth of July

The Black Raven Pirate Ship leaves the dock on July 4th for a special Independence Day cruise and one of the best views of St. Augustine's annual Fourth of July fireworks.

Reservations

Reservations are always recommended, and we suggest you call ahead to reconfirm the departures. Black Raven advises guests not to travel long distances for their tours without checking first, as schedules may change due to weather or unforeseen circumstances.
