Alex's Capes & Tiaras 5K

Alex's Capes & Tiaras 5K takes place on Saturday, August 17, 2024, at 8:00 a.m. near the St. Augustine Shores Riverview Club. The event honors Alex Landis, a young woman who made a remarkable impact on the lives of those with neuromuscular disabilities. Participants are encouraged to bring their best capes and tiaras to this race.

Runners, walkers, and wheelchairs are welcome to participate on this USATF-certified 5K course. The race begins at the Riverview Club, running from Christina Drive, down Shore Boulevard, and back.

The 5K will be professionally timed and scored by Hasselmania Productions LLC using disposable electronic tags attached to the bib number.

All proceeds benefit NMD United and the Alex Landis Difference Maker Scholarship. 

Admission: Register for $35.00 for the in-person race or $30.00 for the virtual 5K.

When: Saturday, August 17, 2024, at 8:00 a.m. 

Where: The St. Augustine Shores Riverview Club is located at 790 Christina Drive, St. Augustine, Florida 32086.

Packet Pickup: Pre-race packet pick-up and registration will be on August 16, 2024, from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. at Funkytown Fitness, 105 Southpark Blvd, St. Augustine, Florida 32086. Race day registration is available on August 17, 2024, from 6:30 to 7:45 a.m. at the Riverview Club.
