    Sarah McLachlan is a Grammy-wining singer-songwriter who will be performing a live concert at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre. Sarah McLachlan is stopping in St. Augustine as part of her North American headline tour. The comprehensive tour follows the release of Phillips’ critically-acclaimed Shine On album. Her latest single from the album is “In Your Shoes.”

    Sarah McLachlan was born and raised in Nova Scotia, Canada. She started taking singing lessons as a child and playing classical piano and guitar. Her breakthough album was Surfacing released in 1997.The album earned her two Grammy awards and reached the number two spot on the US Billboard 200.

    McLachlan’s latest album Shine On was released earlier this year and explores her personal journey over the last three years navigating love, loss and change. Shine On celebrates the human ability to grow from our experiences, thrive and shine on. The New York Times said "her songs materialize in grand resonant spaces” and People Magazine said McLachlan “still sounds like an angel.” Verve Records will put out a remix of “Monsters” which the Boston Globe calls “one of the album’s best songs.” “Monsters” will be available on iTunes on November 17.

    McLachlan’s “Shine On Tour”, which launched last June, has visited over 40 cities in North America to widespread critical acclaim. The Orange County Register described her performance at The Greek in Los Angeles as “a captivating 2 1/2-hour set” while The Vancouver Sun called McLachlan “breathtaking.”

    Tickets for this performance will go on sale Friday, November 21 at 10 a.m. at the St. Augustine Amphitheatre and Ponte Vedra Concert Hall box offices.     When? Wednesday, March 25, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. Gates open at 6:00 p.m.

    Parking Information: The St. Augustine Amphitheatre is located on Anastasia Island next to Anastasia State Park and Recreation Area. There is very limited on-site parking so visitors must utilize accessible satellite parking facilities. Each satellite parking area is located within one mile of the Amphitheatre. Satellite parking lots are located behind RB Hunt Elementary at RB Hunt Elementary and the Elks Lodge.

    Shuttle Information: The St. Augustine Amphitheatre Shuttle system begins its run one and half hour prior to show time. The shuttle will pick up event patrons at two designated shuttle stops & the soccer field behind RB Hunt Elementary School. Shuttles will run continuously until approximately one hour after the scheduled start time of a concert.
