Shrink Rap

This social satire explores the confusion that seems to make up the majority of daily life, with abundant humor where humor is needed most.

A new social satire by St. Augustine playwright Amy Lauer Goldin, "Shrink Rap," addresses the societal anxieties that seem to be part of our daily lives with humor and even a little hope. The play will be performed at the St. Augustine Beach Art Studio & Gallery on two successive weekends — January 31 through February 2, and February 7 and 8, 2020.

Veteran film, stage, and television actor Jon Beshara of Rising Tide Productions will direct and act in the production. The cast is made up of local actors, including Natalie Beltrami, Kelly McTaggart, Frank Riccardo, Heather Eggleston, Sam McIlrath, Annie Kiyonaga, and Margaret Kaler as their exhausted psychiatrist.

When: Performances are on two successive weekends Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, January 31, February 1 and 2, and February 7 and 8, 2020. Times are 7:30 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays and 2:30 p.m. on Sundays.
