A local favorite, the Beachcomber offers a full menu for lunch and dinner — from calamari, to tacos, to fresh catch of the day or fried shrimp, to both burger and vegetarian options.  The Beachcomber is famous for their selection of draft and bottled beers, including local craft beers, as well as for creative craft cocktails. Guests are encouraged to check the daily specials for sandwich, appetizer, and dinner fare not often available.

The beach side location and delicious food created from all fresh ingredients combine to make this a perfect spot to relax and enjoy the local atmosphere. There is a small play area and a special menu for children and well-behaved dogs are welcome.

The Beachcomber is located on A street, directly on the beach.

Beachcomber was recommended to me by someone who's lived here for thirty years. I'm so happy he did! No matter how hot it is - it's always cool & breezy at Beachcomber - inside or out. The food is great - just like the location. But, to me, the best things are the location, friendly staff AND the fact that Beachcomber isn't a chain. It's been around for years & most of the crowd is composed of locals. Oh - forgot to say - IT'S FUN HERE!!

I've been going to the Beachcomber for over 20 years. It is a neat little get away with good food and a great beachy atmosphere. It is a place where the locals meet and greet. The prices vary, so tere is something for everyone. Steamed shrimp, nachos and cheese, artichoke dip, fresh fish... Get the picture. A great little locals place on the beach. The person that complain was probably looking for something more formal. That it isn't! Flip flops definately ok

Stop there for lunch while I was working in St. Augustine. Food was okay. Not impressed. Will not go back.

Beachcomber was my favorite place for my husband, and daughter, and/or friends to come and sit up on the deck, and feel the breeze, and look at the water, and enjoyed some of the most delicious food ! I loved the mahi mahi/blackened, with dill sauce ! that is the best dill sauce ever. I miss Beachcomber; lived in St. Aug, from 1993-2000, and there is no place like it, awesome. I want to come back and visit St. Augustine, and you are so right, the first place I am going to eat, Beachcomber. Keep up with the good job, and don't ever quit, ok.
