"Good food and good times" is the mantra at Tempo Restaurant in historic downtown St. Augustine. By pairing great food with live music, Tempo has rapidly become a favorite spot for visitors and locals alike.
The menu offers a variety of dishes — seafood such as Thai Style Ahi Tuna and Coconut Shrimp, plenty of sandwiches, wraps and burritos to choose from, and several items with a Latin flair, like Ropa Vieja, Plantain Sliders, and a classic Cuban sandwich with roast pork.
Guests have the option to order meals to go, or to have their meals delivered through ZipIt online.
A large selection of wine and beer is available throughout the day. Happy Hour is every day from 2:00 to 7:00 p.m., offering house wines for half price and $2 domestic and $3 premium beers. Tempo is also open for lunch from Thursdays through Sundays, from 12:00 noon to 5:00 p.m.
Live Entertainment
Tempo offers live music every night of the week (except Monday, when the restaurant is closed) from 7:00 to 10:00 p.m., with music styles ranging from Latin guitar to jazz and blues. They are now offering live music at lunch time on Thursdays, as well. Among the fine St. Augustine musicians and groups that play at Tempo are the Duffy Bishop Trio, Bluez Dudez, Falling Bones, and Maja Gitana. Wednesdays are Open Mic nights.
