This sushi and steakhouse presents tasty, traditional Japanese cuisine. Yamato enables guests to observe its chefs preparing and cooking food on the hibachi grills. Their bases for these teppanyakis (meals cooked on a grill) include vegetables, tofu, seafood, chicken, beef, and pork. A house soup, salad, and rice are included with all dinners as well.
Appetizers include bacon scallop rolls, dumplings, soft shell crab, spring rolls, bang bang chicken/shrimp, and fried calamari. An assortment of delicious sushi is available at the bar or at a private table. Yamato has a full bar and provides hot or cold sake, which is its most popular drink item, and signature cocktails. The staff and cooks are more than happy to help with any questions about the menu.
The restaurant is open every day and is located in the Cobblestone Village on State Road Route 312.
