The Lincolnville Museum and Cultural Center hosts Jazz at the Excelsior with Amy Alysia and the Band, on Wednesday, June 10, 2026, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m.

The Lincolnville Museum and Cultural Center was formerly the historic Excelsior High School, the first public high school for African-Americans in St. Augustine. Lincolnville Jazz at the Excelsior features talented artists performing in the renovated second-floor gathering space at 102 M.L.K., Jr. Avenue.  (There is an elevator.)

The June Program

Vocalist Amy Alysia's impressive range and on-stage energy have delighted local audiences in Northeast Florida. She performs jazz, ballads, and soul with her professional four-piece band. Raised in a home where she was immersed in gospel music, Alysia began singing in church. Later, she discovered secular music, particularly that of Chaka Khan, Aretha Franklin, Tina Turner, Sade, Natalie Cole, Whitney Houston, and Anita Baker, citing them as singers she admires.
