Sara Bareilles is a powerhouse, award-winning, soulful singer/songwriter and musician. From the release of the artist's hit single "Love Song," people around the world began to love this new breakout jazzy singer, making her a force to reckon with today.

Bareilles started her career off performing in local bars and clubs after graduating from her alma mater, UCLA. Her first studio album, Careful Confessions led to her eventual signing with the prestigious Epic Records label in early 2005. In the midst of working on her own album, Bareilles toured the UK with Guster, and co-headlined a tour with Jon McLaughlin.

In 2007, Bareilles put her single "Love Song" on iTunes where they featured it as a free song of the week. Within that time span, the song shot up on the Billboard top 100 chart to number 45 on the list. The song gradually moved up on the chart until it peaked at number 4 in December 2007. After the success of this song, the new pop star went on two tours, starred on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno, and released her album Little Voice.

Her album Kaleidoscope Heart, released in 2010, sold 90,000 copies in the United States and led to a tour entitled "Uncharted." Bareilles was featured on "The Sing Off" as a guest judge for the third season, directly in the midst of her new album's grand success. Her latest two albums, Once Upon Another Time and The Blessed Unrest both were received extremely well in the United States and other varying countries. The artist's most recent album deals with issues of bullying, disease, and gay rights. Bareilles performed at the 56th Annual Grammy Awards, and has received 5 nominations for her work since 2007.
