Annual Vilano Music Fest
Saturday, May 11, 2019
The Annual Vilano Music Fest will take place on Saturday, May 11, 2019. The event showcases Vilano Beach, a charming community just north of St. Augustine's historic district, with great food, live acoustic music, dancers, bands, and a tour of homes.
This year, Vilano Music Fest will be taking place on Mother's Day weekend. The festival will also be changing from it's usual format of well-known musicians from the area to two bands that will play famous 70s and 80s rock music from The Grateful Dead and the Allman Brothers. Since the festival will be at the Oceanfront Park next to the Vilano Beach Pavilion, those who are already at the beach can enjoy the festival before going home. 100 chairs will be provided for the audience and guests are more than welcome to bring their own chairs and scatter around the property.
The two bands playing at Music Fest through Surfside Recording Studios are Peach Life and Not Quite Dead. Peach Life will perform first on stage followed by Not Quite Dead. Food vendors present will include Fried Chicken Kitchen, St. Auggie's Doggies, Kona Ice, and Piña Colada, and the beer will be donated from Burkhardt Distributors and wine from The Gifted Cork.
