Amici Italian Restaurant has long been a favorite of locals and visitors to St. Augustine. The décor of their bar/lounge and multiple dining rooms is reminiscent of Italian restaurants in New York or Boston. Their dishes offer nods to the past with traditional flavors, presentations, and menu items.
The chef and owner provides meals made from fresh local ingredients, grows some of his own spices and herbs, and offers an occasional special of a spicy watermelon soup flavored with the local datil pepper.
Datil can be found in a few other menu items, while Amici's house-made dressings and sauces may be more traditional and are just as tasty.

Offering Italian classics, chef creations, wine, cocktails, and specialty pizza, this local favorite routinely hosts special events. The kitchen prepares each dish from scratch, from pasta made of semolina and locally sourced eggs to robust marinara and velvety lemon butter cream sauce.
The restaurant has a full bar, banquet rooms, and plenty of free parking. They are open for dinner, four days a week, Thursday through Sunday, and reservations are suggested.
