The Blue Hen has moved. They now have a larger location on West King and have closed their MLK location. They serve breakfast and lunch at 223 King Street and are open from 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Thursdays through Mondays.
The Blue Hen Café serves fresh, locally sourced cuisine for breakfast and lunch. Breakfast options include breakfast burritos, blue crab quiche, corned beef hash and eggs, and chicken biscuits.
The lunch menu offers a variety of southern choices, including pulled pork and biscuits, fried green tomato tacos, a datil BBQ Cuban sandwich, and jerk chicken Cobb salad.
This unique café is at 223 King Street, west of U.S. 1. The restaurant is open from 8:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. Thursday through Monday. Full breakfast is served from 8:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. and lunch, with a limited breakfast menu, is available after 11:00 a.m. In addition to warm and cold beverages, it also serves wine and beer.
