Tasting Tours offers a one-day food workshop for home cooks, discussing pairing wine with spice blends, on Saturday, April 22, 2023 from 5:00 to 6:30 p.m.  The workshop will be held in Tasting Tours event space, Suite 505 of the Treasury Building, 24 Cathedral Street in St. Augustine.

Chef Angela of Tasting Tours will be joined by Colleen Messner, owner of the The Spice and Tea Exchange in St. Augustine. Colleen will share the various spice blends offered by the Spice and Tea Exchange, and Chef Angela will guide the attendees on pariing different spice blends with wine.

For the second year in a row, Flagler College presents their three-day poetry festival to celebrate the literary heritage and connect the creative community of St. Augustine. Events range from poetry readings and open mic nights to guided craft classes and meditation. The majority of PoetFest events occur on Saturday, at Flagler College. Most of the sessions below are free and open to the public (unless noted).

Flagler College and Ancient City Poets team up with local art collective Hellthy and booking company Bandturo to celebrate three evenings of late-night performances. Hosted at Sarbez! (every local's favorite stop for grilled cheese and arcade games), the PoetFest: at Night series each include a unique line up of local and out-of-town talent.

The Flagler College English Department and Relampago Coffee Lab come together to present a special Open Mic Night on the evening of Friday, April 14. Writers, Musicians, and even Stand-Up Comics are invited to perform at this kick-off event for the Second Annual Flagler College PoetFest.

Singer, Songwriter, and one of the last contestants on American Idol, Leah Marlene amazed music icons such as Katie Perry, Luke Bryan, and others. Marlene combines rock, folk, soul, and other types of music to provide an unforgettable performance to her fans.

Some of her most recent albums include Many Colors and The Space Between. In addition, Marlene's most recent song "Flowers" has received thousands of views and streams from multiple media platforms.
