Finding fresh, organic and local anything in St. Augustine was not easy. The Floridian was a wonderful and delicious option. Highly recommended.

I have been to The Floridian several times (6)... I was very excited to bring my sweet lil' sis to this awesome restaurant. I was told REPEATEDLY that the black bean

even though it was a busy saturday evening and we waited almost an hour it was a pleasure from start to finish. good wine, food and staff ...all were excellent. thanks

    Fresh, delicious, healthy.

As a native Floridian who has lived all over the place, stateside and abroad, I can tell you that you CAN NOT go wrong in choosing to dine in this wonderful restaurant! They source most, if not all, of their ingredients locally and prepare each with culinary expertise and a heaping helping of Southern love. The polenta cakes for an appetizer are the most amazing thing with a cool and zesty corn relish and the FGT Hoagie (fried green tomatoes!) is too good to try to share. What a treat! Desserts are beyond belief. Especially the pecan pie!!! Go now! Run! :)
