  • Scarlett O'Hara's has been a tradition in St. Augustine for 40 years, with accolades for "The Best Neighborhood Bar" from Folio Magazine for eight years running. A comfortable pub atmosphere, a downtown location with great people-watching seating on the porch, live music, great food, and handcrafted cocktails are highlights of this popular restaurant overlooking Hypolita Street.

    The menu at Scarlett's features a variety of Southern comfort fare, including shrimp and grits, fried chicken, and chicken fried steak. Their pit-smoked barbecue is a local favorite, and they also offer a number of appetizers and bar snacks, as well as burgers, tacos, and soups and salads.

    The upstairs dining room at Scarlett's offers a relaxed, Southern atmosphere worthy of Scarlett O'Hara herself. Also upstairs is the renowned Ghost Bar. Scarlett O'Hara's is listed in the National Directory of Haunted Places and is said to be haunted by the man who built the original house in 1879.

    Lunch and dinner are served daily starting at 11 a.m. The restaurant features a full bar and live music on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday -- on the porch in the afternoons and on the inside stage in the evenings. Scarlett's is open until midnight Sundays through Thursdays and until 2 a.m. on Fridays and Saturdays.

    Happy Hour is all day and every day, with $2 domestic drafts, $3 imported/craft drafts, $3 red Sangria, and $3 flavored vodka drinks. Every Monday night is Karaoke Night, beginning at 9 p.m., where each guest who sings a song gets a free shot!

    Scarlett O'Hara's is located at the corner of Hypolita Street and Cordova Street.

    Scarlett's hosts special events in three separate areas of the restaurant -- the downstairs main floor, the outside patio bar, and the upstairs Ghost Bar.     Tacos Tacos Tacos Baha-inspired tacos on soft corn tortillas served with pico de gallo Choose carne asada, grilled or blackened chicken or shrimp.
    Deviled Eggs No Southern menu would be complete without these li'l bad boys.
    Scarlett's Strawberry and Brie Salad. Strawberry Brie Salad Garden fresh strawberries and slices of Brie cheese over mixed greens, tossed in a champagne vinaigrette dressing.
    The Carpetbagger Lean flank steak, grilled and sliced thin them piled high on Cuban bread with Provolone, onion and peppers.

    My first time here was amazing! I walked in excited, and saw Lyle who was a very enthusiastic host. He made the place feel welcome! I had some wonderful wings served by Tabby who provided great service. I really do suggest you stop on by!

    If you're in St. Augustine, Florida and you love great wings why are you eating anywhere else? They have great flavoring plus their bourbon maple flavor is great. Both the host Lyle and my bartender Sarah were extremely knowledgeable and helpful!

    Scarlett O' Hara's was amazing! Our sever was Christina and she was super friendly and helpful, the service was great! you have to try te BBQ Dinner and a Rett's Last Straw!

    This restaurant has always treated its customers well. Every time I am there, I feel welcomed and excited for the meal to come. They frequently have live music and great specials! They're also very accommodating when it comes to allergies. Always great. Always fun. I love it!

    My family and I really enjoyed our visit in Saint Augustine this weekend! One of our favorite places was Scarlet O'Hara's! They whole staff was very professional and our service was awesome. Not to mention the wings were some of the best I've ever had. We will definitely be back again!

    Talk about a blast from the past, I thought this place would've been changed after all the years but its practically the same. I went with the carpetbagger and I was pleasantly surprised at how flavorful it was. Not to mention the host Lyle was more than accommodating. Id definitely suggest stopping by!

    I was out and about exploring the downtown St. Augustine area and saw a wooden building that was playing good music and decided to grab a bite to eat. The feel of the place is great, so relaxed. The outside bar was great and once the live music started it got even better. My bartender Andy was also extremely attentive. If you're ever in the are I definitely suggest stopping by.

    I've been here multiple times. So many great things to try! They have creative cocktails and wonderful apps! Even good if you are looking for a good sit down place to enjoy good southern food! I had a great server and her name was Miranda (just like me), request her when you go in. Good atmosphere and people. Overall 5 stars

    I'm not kidding, I go to Scarlett's at least once a week. The people are great, the atmosphere is awesome, and the food never disappoints. Ask for Morgan Miller's section if you go on a weekend. She's the best!

    My family and I have been having our once a week get to gethers at Scarlett's for 15 years now. There isn't one time I can remember poor service or mediocre food. Wednesday is there Wing Night, where wings are 50 cents each! You honestly have to love their prices. If you're in town looking for a relaxed family friendly pub with sports on multiple TV's look no further.
