Calico Cactus offers a modern twist on tacos and serves Tex-Mex breakfast, brunch, and lunch options. Brought to life by one of Maple Street Biscuit Company's co-founders, the eatery handmakes fresh flour tortillas daily and features a new taco creation on the menu weekly.
Breakfast tacos include the Gravy Crockett (bacon, potatoes, and green chili chorizo gravy), Scrambled Eggs On Your Face (eggs, bacon, potatoes, and queso), Area 51 (spicy chorizo, eggs, and cheese), Pick Me Up (picadillo, eggs, and potatoes), and Texas Hold'em (brisket, eggs, and cheese).
For a more "lunchy" taco item, try the Squawk On The Street (chicken, goat cheese, bread crumbs, and pepper jelly), Fire Proof (barbacoa brisket, potatoes, poblanos, and queso), Prairie Dog (refried beans, potato, and cheese), and We Happy Few (pork, cabbage, and signature sauce). Salads, bowls, dips, and vegetarian sides are available.
Get a pick-me-up with a wide assortment of espresso-based beverages. Select one of the house-made drinks, such as watermelon aqua fresca, limeade, passionfruit aqua fresca, and freshly squeezed orange juice.
It's open daily from 7:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
