In her work, Laura uses textile, sculpture, and drawing to examine the structures of beauty and power. The textiles in this work have vibrant colors with hand-stitched designs using silk and cotton threads. Each work incorporates multiple techniques and materials, such as using text in her sculptures, and adding layered materials and flocking to her drawings.
