Vilano Beach presents a Holiday Circus with acrobatics, aerialists, and jugglers on Saturday, December 14, 2024. Family and friends can enjoy a Christmas-themed performance featuring holiday tunes and comedic elves. The Cirque Adventure shows will be at 1:00, 2:30, and 4:00 p.m. Nationally renowned magician, The Southern Scoundrel, will make appearances at 1:45, 3:15, and 4:45 p.m.

Santa and Mrs. Claus will be on-site for photos from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. A box is onsite for children to deliver their letters to Santa and hot chocolate will also be served.

Al Wilke Park & Community Center provides a variety of activities for kids of all ages.

The Community, or Teen, Center caters to 13 - 17-year-olds and encourages socialization and designates time for homework. A supervisor is on duty to watch and take care of the kids.

Summer programs are also available and cater to teens. The County Health Department, Hastings Library, and Youth Off Drugs and Alcohol host field trips.

On Thursday, 16, 2023, the National Park Service at the Castillo de San Marcos National Monument and other groups and organizations invite the public to attend a memorial service in honor of the Native American Warriors who were imprisoned at Fort Marion in the 1800s. All of them were wrenched from their homelands and families, and several died and were buried at what is now the Castillo de San Marcos.

On Wednesday and Thursday, November 15 and 16, 2023, the National Park Service at the Castillo de San Marcos National Monument invites the public to free educational events commemorating Native American Heritage Month.

The educational sessions will be held at Flagler College's Virginia Room at the Ringhaver Student Center, 50 Sevilla Street. After the last session on Thursday at 3:45 p.m., at the Castillo de San Marcos, participants will hold a ceremony called "Honoring Historic Footprints."

Singer/songwriter Chelsea Saddler performs in celebration of her upcoming full-length solo album, The Offering, on Thursday, December 14, 2023, from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m., at the Waterworks.

One of St. Augustine's local favorite musicians, Chelsea Saddler grew up in Jacksonville, where she studied classical guitar in middle school and began singing at the age of 13. Later, Chelsea spent time in Nashville and has called St. Augustine home for longer than a decade. Her guitar skills astound audiences and her charismatic energy is immediately contagious.
