Not only is Akia Uwanda a classically trained jazz singer — she is an entrepreneur, internationally beloved performer, and humanitarian. On top of all of those well-earned titles, Uwanda is also a Jacksonville native! Raised as an only child right here in Northeast Florida, she has imbued the culture, art, and history of the first coast into her career as a multi-talented, multi-faceted artist.

Currently playing as a three-woman powerhouse of energy, emotions and harmonies, the Krickets bring the sound of their own tunes and covers to St. Augustine. Blending folk, Americana, country and their own “swamp-folk” sound, the North Florida Krickets lead with great old-sound harmonies and a new world message.
 

The Saltones is the quintenssential St. Augustine Band: four accomplished musicians with vocal abilities; each with a wide-ranging experience with other bands; all from a wide variety of musical backgrounds; and all four having played together for years to the delight of locals and visitors.
