The at Spinster Abbott's in Uptown is a secret oasis reminiscent of the prohibition era. You can unwind, visit with friends, indulge in local beers, wines, and canned cocktails, and satisfy your hunger with baked goods or food from the food truck.
The taproom's eclectic mix of vintage art, furniture, and decor creates a comfortable ambiance reminiscent of a bygone era, offering a retro, speakeasy experience combined with a vintage southern diner counter/bar. With a menu that includes beer, wine, soft drinks, and numerous coffee drinks, plus baked goods, Spinster Abbott's Taproom offers a comfortable location to relax at any time of the day or evening. They often present live music three nights a week, and host trivia and bingo nights each month. On nice evenings, when the place is packed, they open the garage door and invite folks to sit outside.
This location includes three other businesses: Spinster Abbott's Bodega, Hot Box Food Truck, and Snake Bird Vintage.
The espresso bar and tap room opens at 8:00 a.m., seven days a week. They close at 11:00 p.m. on Friday and Saturday, and at 10:00 p.m. the rest of the week. Check Spinster Abbott's website and Facebook page for live music and event updates.
