The four members of Floorbird, outside in a city park

Floorbird

This band from Philadelphia started in 2020 and has grown a signficant following.

Floorbird formed during the 2020 pandemic, creating their debut EP, Fall Apart Anywhere, from start to finish -- writing the songs, recording, producing, and shooting the videos, handling all of the creative process.

Categorized as Emo, their sound is a combination of contemplative lyrics, strong and lush arrangements, and no-holds-barred performances. From Philadelphia, the band’s second EP, If You’re Still Around, is more pop-driven and electrifying, but still with their emo roots.

Mikel Paris singing at a microphone in front of a brick wall

Mikel Paris

A singer, songwriter, multi-instrumentalist, video producer, and musical collaborator.

Mikel Paris’s career is varied, worldwide, melodic, and with loads of rhythm. He performed in STOMP, has backed up PINK, Jewel, and Train, and plays keyboards with the touring band for O.A.R.

Over the years, he has learned to focus on enjoying the process, creating his own music, and developing a strong solo career. Through it all, he’s learned that the business of music includes creating partnerships, building relationships, and helping others. That appreciation of collaboration and others is reflected in his songs.

The two members of Clew Dog in a montage

Clew Dog

This duo are both members of the band Simplified.

Clew Dog, described as "Clee and Drew, from Simplified," is yet another band formed by two musicians who simply want to play music together as much as possible.

Clee Laster formed the popular band Simplified in 2002, with Chris Sheridan. The band started out as a duo and added several musicians along the way.

In 2023, songwriter and singer Clee began performing with percussionist and singer Drew in a band they named Clew Dog. Nearly all the songs are original and their music has the relaxed island/rock sound familiar to fans of Simplified.
