The Milano Comedy Room presents comedian Jake Klark on Thursday, April 25, at 7:30 p.m. at Amici Restaurant, 1915 A1A South, St. Augustine.

From Cleveland, this 30-something shares his comedy about growing up in the Rust Belt, working in corporate America, and the nuances of marriage. Jake is also a keynote speaker who uses his comedy to inspire and motivate. He performs in comedy clubs throughout the U.S. and has been a finalist in the World Series of Comedy.

Manchild is the current brew of two young and one not-as-young musicians who all are related to somebody musically. Grayson Lagasse has spent his life listening to his father, Michael Lagasse, who has been well-known around the Florida music scene pondering, practicing, and performing for many years.

Patchwork

Long known as "Florida's flatpickin', fiddlin', females," the band now includes a male keyboardist.

From Gainesville, Patchwork has performed all over Florida for more than 20 years, originally as the Patchwork Girls. They still sing in multi-part harmony and the long-time band members wow the audiences with outstanding musicianship.

Each band member has performed professionally as a solo act or with other groups. Some have won prestigious songwriting awards, and others have won awards for their musicianship. All members are committed to music education and participate in, and lead workshops at, schools and festivals.

The Romanza Festivale presents select members of the Key of Seas in concert on Saturday, May 4, 2024, from 3:00 to 4:30 p.m., at St. Cyprian's Episcopal Church, 37 Lovett Street.

The Key of Seas is a student vocal ensemble. During each fall semester, they prepare a cabaret show, and in the spring they prepare a program that is largely a capella. This concert will feature select members of the ensemble, performing several numbers from recent fall cabaret programs.

Uncle Mosie delivers sweet harmonies, lively beats, and songs that tell stories.

Uncle Mosie is the nom de guerre (assumed name) of Andrew Cook, a fiddler and vocalist for several bands and ensembles in Florida, including his “namesake” band, Uncle Mosie. This band of six musicians from Gainesville have performed together as Uncle Mosie since 2017, and some of them played music together as early as 2010 under the name Nook and Cranny.
