Old City Carriages offers carriage rides to downtown visitors. The beautifully crafted carriages rides through St. Augustine's brick lined streets and takes guests past historic attractions such as the Castillo de San Marcos and Lightner Museum. The carriages feature padded cushion seats and accommodates up to five guests. During Nights of Lights, the carriages are decorated with lighting and seasonal decor to match.

On Tuesday, July 25, 2023, Catholics in the region will celebrate the first stop in the Camino del Mestizaje, the U.S. starting point of Spain’s centuries-old Camino de Santiago (the "Way of St. James.)

The celebration begins at 6:00 p.m. with a procession from the Castillo de San Marcos to the Cathedral Basilica at 38 Cathedral Place. The statue of St. James will be carried in the procession. The public is invited to join members of the Historic Florida Militia and St. Augustine's Royal Family, members of the clergy, historians, and local dignitaries on the solemn walk.

The first annual St Augustine Sunrise Rotary's Big Dill Pickleball Classic is October 14 and 15, 2023.

Held on the eight pickleball courts at Treaty Park and sponsored by the Rotary's Rhythm 'n Ribs Foundation, the Pickleball Classic benefits the Big Brothers and Big Sisters of St. Johns County. This tournament is open to players of all levels, from beginners to advanced. The play will be in brackets, with each competitor playing at least two games. Fans, friends, and family are invited to attend the games at no charge.

To make it easier to get to the beach during the Fourth of July weekend, there will be a free shuttle service to two of the area's most popular beaches between 10:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., from July 1 through July 4, 2023.

Looking for shuttles to the fireworks? Go here.

On Vilano Beach, shuttles will run between Cornerstone Park, at 1036 A1A N, and Mickler's Landing Beachfront Park.
